1. What message does the song communicate?
Jesus is the ultimate prize, more precious than anything the world offers. He is worth sacrificing for. No tumult can stop Hillsong from following Him, their provider, sustenance, and hope.
Score: 10/10
2. How much of the lyrics line up with Scripture?
Sure is!
This song does not have a Verse/Chorus/Bridge format, therefore, I added Stanzas to each paragraph. Also, the ad-libs were removed since they add nothing worth commenting on.

[Stanza 1]
Christ is my reward and all of my devotion
Hillsong fixes their eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2).
Now there’s nothing in this world that could ever satisfy
As stated in Psalm 34:10, Proverbs 13:25, Isaiah 55:2, Isaiah 65:13-16, Hosea 4:10, and Micah 6:14-16.
Through every trial my soul will sing
Perseverance, character, and hope are the fruits of overcoming obstacles (Romans 5:3-5, Hebrews 12:4-11, and James 1:2-4).
No turning back I’ve been set free
Those who died to sin cannot return to it (Romans 6:1-2). Also reminds me of Lot’s wife who turned into a pillar of salt for looking back (Genesis 19:26).
[Stanza 2]
Christ is enough for me
All other pursuits are loss by comparison (Philippians 3:8).
Christ is enough for me
Repeats line 1.
Everything I need is in You
Everything I need
See line 1.
[Stanza 3]
Christ my all in all the joy of my salvation
See Stanza 2, line 1.
And this hope will never fail heaven is our home
This hope never disappoints (Romans 5:5). Our ultimate destination is eternal life in heaven (Mark 10:29-30, John 3:15-16, John 3:36, John 4:14, John 5:24, John 5:39-40, John 6:27, John 6:40, John 10:28, John 17:3, John 20:31, Romans 5:21, Romans 6:22-23, Romans 8:18, 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, Galatians 6:8, 1 Timothy 1:16, 1 Timothy 6:12, 2 Timothy 2:11, Hebrews 5:9, 1 Peter 5:10, 1 John 2:23-27, 1 John 5:10-13, 1 John 5:20, Jude 1:20-21, Revelation 3:5, Revelation 7:16-17, and Revelation 21:3-4).
Through every storm my soul will sing
Essentially repeats Stanza 1, line 4.
Jesus is here to God be the glory
That is, inside believers (Romans 8:10, 2 Corinthians 4:6-7, Galatians 1:15-16, Galatians 2:20, Galatians 4:19, Ephesians 3:17, and Colossians 1:27). He is glorified (Exodus 16:7, Exodus 24:17, Exodus 40:34-35, Leviticus 9:23, 1 Chronicles 29:11, Psalm 3:3, Psalm 8:1, Psalm 19:1-4, Isaiah 6:1-3, Isaiah 40:5, Isaiah 42:8, Isaiah 58:8, Isaiah 60:1, Habakkuk 2:14, John 1:14, John 17:22, Romans 3:23, 2 Corinthians 3:18, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Philippians 4:19, Hebrews 1:1-3, Revelation 21:10-14, and Revelation 21:23).
[Stanza 4]
I have decided to follow Jesus
No turning back, no turning back
Borrows from Sundar Singh’s classic hymn I Have Decided to Follow Jesus. It is a response to Jesus’ invitation to follow Him in Matthew 4:19 and Luke 18:22.
I have decided to follow Jesus
No turning back, no turning back
Repeats lines 1 and 2.
[Stanza 5]
The cross before me the world behind me
No turning back, no turning back
The cross before me the world behind me
No turning back, no turning back
Comes from the same Hymn as Stanza 4 which essentially carries the same meaning.
Score: 10/10
3. How would an outsider interpret the song?
Jesus is explicitly stated, lending unbelievers to think it Christian. They will conclude that Christians will follow Jesus no matter what. His is more precious than puppies, filet mignon, Tom Hanks, and the One Ring.
Score: 10/10
4. What does this song glorify?
Jesus, who is Hillsong’s joy, hope, and Savior.
Score: 10/10
Closing Comments
Hillsong Worship’s Christ Is Enough is awesome. It reminds us of our freedom in Christ, our decision to follow Him, and that the world and its alluring lusts are behind us much as Satan is behind Him. These bring Him glory. Unbelievers shouldn’t have trouble interpreting this one.
I highly recommend this song for corporate worship,
Final Score: 10/10

So…you’re ok with endorsing bad theology through giving “-“ worship songs and groups good reviews?
That sounds little heretical in by and of itself.
