Website Updates – April 11, 2018

Hello to the ten’s and ten’s of you following this blog!

I have three major updates for all reviews up to this date.

1. We received permission from Capitol CMG Publishing to post lyrics to this blog!  Therefore, we will (slowly) implement lyrics directly into the content for reviews pertaining to this publishing company.  This will ensure a much smoother experience for your viewership.
2. My most recent posts have been more in-depth rather than posting a list of Bible verses pertaining to lyrics.  This adds value to each reviews and demonstrates why certain passages are relevant to each line.  I plan to rework all prior reviews to include a more detailed analysis of lyrics with a consistent format.
3. I recently reworked the scoring system to calculate the Final Score.  All categories except Bible Review will receive a 20% weight.  The Bible Review will receive a 40% weight.  As I work on #1 and #2 (above), I will also adjust scores under this new system.

Since I am a lone blogger with a full time job, a family, and a few church commitments, updates to prior reviews will be sporadic.  You may find that some reviews are only partially updated due to time constraints.  I ask for your prayers and patience through this transition.
